Kaashif A level Exam

 1)   From the beginning the audience are encouraged to see the characters in a stereotypical light, the mise-en-scene supports the judgements made from what they're environment and clothes. This myth presented them as "gangstas/hoodlums".... However they could also be seen as a curious bunch of people since they simply play around with a harmonica that someone dropped. This slowly reels the audience to thinking that these characters shouldn't be taken at face value and how culture has shaped our way of thinking when we see certain signs. 2)By the end of the short film they truly emphasise how signs can be polysemic, the boys may be wandering around in urban areas dressed in these stereotypical ways but they do not act the way that we would expect. These characters subvert these expectations by they're silent actions-which we later find out the reasons because of this is that they're both deaf. Newspapers    I don't read newspapers but my parents do. Magazines I do not read any magazines. Television I most likely watch television approximately 2-3 hours a day when Its accessible.  Usually I will watch TV during 8:00 or 9:00 Pm. My favourite program would have to be the Flash. I watch with my siblings most of the time. We all get to watch what we want so theres debates on what to put on the television Occasionally, I use On-Demand unless theres new episodes coming up. I use my tablet sometimes to watch TV sometimes as well. Radio I do not listen to radio. As far as I know nobody in my house listens to it nowadays but they used to. Films The last film i watched was unbreakable  Ive seen mission impossible, hellboy, Johnny a quiet place, inception and a few others i cant remember from Netflix My siblings watched most of these movies with me. There are a few that i searched for myself We decide what we want to watch ourselves  We usually watch these films on our tablets/lapto

 1)  When i first studied media during year 9-10 i found the subject itself to be interesting. It changed my perspective on the media around me and its purposes. 2) I took media studies at Greenford. 3) The grade i got was a 5 and I created a TV sci fi drama. My greatest weakness would have to be my writing speed while my greatest strength would have to seeing different perspectives from people in media. 4)  I hope to achieve either a 6 or 7. 5) I plan to get an apprenticeship but i'm not entirely certain about this or university. 6) Covid-19 would be the biggest media story since it effected everyone around the world. 7) I use Twitter, Youtube and the TV (Good morning Britain) to find out about the world and its current affairs. 8) Last film i watched was Monster house. 9)  My favourite series would have to be Avatar the last air bender. 10) I probably spend at least 4-5 hours online. This is probably enough time spent on it because of the Internets accessibility and advantages it
