OSP Teen Vogue- background and textual analysis

 1) Bill Thompson states that one of the positive developments created by the internet is the access to a way to talk to hundreds of thousands of other users around the world. The net is open to innovation like email, the web, Spotify or snapchat. 2) Some of the dangers that are linked to the development of the internet is the fact that the network doesn't care what the data means or how its used. Its next to impossible to stop spam or abuse.  1) Hearst communications is a multinational mass media and business conglomerate that owns several assets like Magazines (Men's health, Esquire etc), Newspapers (The Hour) and broadcasting networks (ESPN inc). Mens health Magazine- Language and representation

Language  1) Mens Health's colour scheme are very conventional to colours that represent masculinity in general these colours consist of black, white and blue. The mast head of this magazine is the only text that is placed in the serif font while the rest of the magazine is placed in sans serif. Its language used is very exclamatory with them using a lot of action verbs like "Blast, Demolish, Slay" . Vin Diesel is the central image with him representing the "peak of masculinity" in a way.  1) The reason they set up Iceberg Press is to do things differently.
