 1)  Q1. Add further detail to the answers using more media terminology to describe the poster. E.g. talk about how the decision to omit the eyes as a way to focus on the mouth (A singers way to express themselves) which is both meaningful and unconventional. Suggest why the title was partially obscured using media theories as a basis  The presentation of the artist (Makeup lipstick etc) and the gendered readings of this. Q2. Provide a balanced arguement when answering the question. Not enough detail on one side. Letter to the free relates to social issues within American society even the title itself makes people question whether they are truly "free" Letter to the free also makes use of its message through its colour palate being mostly black and white throughout the video Q3. Fact-sheet#107 Fandom 1) A fan is a person who has a devotion to a media text that goes beyond simply consuming the text that they consumed. Matt Hill believes it becomes a part of someones identity much like gender, class and age. 2) The different types of fans that are identified by the extract are: Hardcore/true Fan : They identify themselves as the "insiders" within any fandom. They spend a lot of time and often money in becoming hardcore fans. Newbie : These are new fans of a media text and don't have the same devotion as a hardcore fan. They are seen as the "out-group" within any fandom. Anti-fan : Those who identify with a media text but in a negative light instead. Unlike hardcore fans they form they're relationship with a media text at a distance rather then a close reading. + 1) WWW: Successful response to Q1, understanding the theory.                                                                         EBI: Both answers need more detail and development specific example from the CSP in particular. 2) Three aspects from Q1 that I could have added are. Preferred-Linking Google Homes advert as a vision of an ideal family life. Mise-en-scene supports this with coloured pencils and a child's picture in the background. Industry: Condé Nast 1) Conde Nast owns GQ, The new Yorker, Vanity Fair, Wired and Architectural digest etc. Conde Nast makes an annual revenue of 1.1 Billion. 2) Teen Vogues main source of income is through advertising space online which is targeted using the persons browser history. They also monetise their customers data and loyalty whilst encouraging readers to register online for updates.  1) Gilroy suggests that racial identities are historically constructed- formed by colonization, slavery, nationalist philosophies and consumer capitalism. 2) Gilroy explains that " Race is not the eternal cause of racism but is its complex, unstable product.
